Navegue até a Ilha Catalina nesta excursão de dia inteiro, parando para mergulhar com snorkel em La Pared, também conhecido como The Wall, um parque nacional que abriga vários corais e vida marinha, como peixes-papagaio, peixes-anjo e tartarugas marinhas. Em seguida, você continuará até a própria Ilha Catalina para um almoço típico dominicano na praia. Depois, você retornará a La Romana para visitar Altos de Chavon, uma réplica de uma vila mediterrânea do século XVI – você encontrará um anfiteatro em estilo romano, galerias de arte e uma cena artística animada aqui.

Fantastic trip. Great snorkeling. Food was ok. It was much better on Saona trip. Were not told we were going to the village/ shops at end. Would have preferred to know this before as I was unfortunately very seasick and thought we were going straight back to the hotel. Excellent bus driver and your guide was good.

The snorkelling was great. Getting to Carolina was bizarre - instead of docking at the jetty like other boats, the passengers had to get from the boat into a smaller boat (which wasn’t altogether very safe) to get ashore. For the amount of passengers this took 3 trips which took up time and could have led to accidents- not sure why this was done The trip to where Michael Jackson and Lisa Marie Presley got married seemed just an add-on - a bit of a waste of time.

It was a fantastic excursion. Well organised from start to finish . The Island is absolutely stunning. Just be prepared for a very long day .

Abholzeit wurde um 25 Minuten überschritten. Mit dem Bus zur Tankstelle zum umsteigen. Dort zum "falschen Bus" gewiesen. Im Bus hat Guide bemerkt das ich nicht nach Santa Domingo gehen wollte. Bus angehalten, musste umsteigen in einen PKW wo zuerst Platz gemacht werde müsste. Mein Bot war schon losgefahren. Späteres Bot nehmen müssen mit junges Party-Volk. Schnorcheln TOP. Übergabe an neue Guide (Christel) war sehr unprofessionell. Rücktransport war "okay"

It would be better if we had visited the church first and then the island but I understand slots have to be booked for visiting both and it was nice that it wasn't busy when we visited the church. Also it would be better to board the return boat from the dock rather than using the smaller boats for the transfer.
