Your first stop is Polop, where you'll have free time to wander its quiet streets and soak up its local character. Visit the Plaza de los Chorros, bordered by a long, semi-circular fountain where 221 separate spouts provide fresh, cool drinking water, or step inside the Costa Mágica Museum to see detailed miniature recreations of some of the region's best-known landmarks.

In Altea, whitewashed houses, pebbled streets and the blue-domed church set the scene for a relaxed afternoon. With around two hours of free time, you can enjoy lunch, browse local boutiques or simply take in the Mediterranean views before returning to Benidorm.
