Living in the coastal subtropical waters around Sal, lemon sharks are one of the easiest sharks to spot in their natural habitat. You'll venture out to Shark Bay with a marine biologist to interact and learn about these fascinating creatures on this half-day trip.

After pick-up from your hotel, you'll drive to Shark Bay over on the east coast of Sal where your lemon shark experience will begin. You'll wade out into the water with a marine biologist, who will guide you step by step and teach you all about this incredible species.

Spot their yellow-tinted skin – ideal for camouflage in the sandy shores – and watch them as they go about their business, twisting and turning, and looking for fish just a few feet away. You'll see their fins cutting through the surface of the water and get to know these sharks closer than you could imagine.

Ils sont à l'état sauvage, il ne faut donc pas s'attendre à trouver l'aspect aquarium avec de nombreux requins? Seuls les requins de moins de 7 ans s'approchent, les requins adultes restent un peu plus loin, les ailerons sont bien visibles. Pour ma part, premier fois dans un milieu ouvert avec des requins, j'ai trouvé cela très bien

Trop de touristes. Notre guide était le seul à ne pas donner à manger aux requins… ducoup moins de requins chez nous. Les chaussures m’ont coûté trois euros la paire… annoncées deux euros… arnaque je suppose. Sinon bien évidemment que c’est incroyable d’avoir des bébés requins à côté de soi…j’aurais préféré arriver la première sur place… ou la dernière… mais je n’aime pas ce tourisme de masse.
