No man is an island but Lanzarote is an island that owes a lot to one man. The legacy of artist and architect Cesar Manrique is everywhere. On this land and sea tour, you'll visit two of his creations, LagOmar and the Cactus Garden, and the small volcanic island of La Graciosa.

Manrique's buildings and sculptures dot the island and it's thanks to him that there are no high-rises. He conceived LagOmar to evoke the Arabian Nights tales though it also has the air of a Bond villain lair. Once owned by Omar Shariff, the complex has a cave-bar, a restaurant, apartments and a museum.

Next, you'll visit the Cactus Garden, where Manrique landscaped more than 7,000 cactuses of all shapes and sizes. Then, hop on a boat and sail to La Graciosa, a volcanic island surrounded by Europe's largest marine reserve. Enjoy lunch and some free time on its virgin beaches.

The trip got off to a bad start with over three hours sitting on the plane in Stockholm waiting to be de-Iced. Bad weather yes - but other flights came in, off loaded, loaded and were de iced while we were sitting there. So question is if TUI is paying for the necessary airport support. A well known Irish airline had several planes in and out as we waited. And they are not know for paying over the top. All in all trip once we got there was ok. Promise of heated pool was incorrect, it was freezing! and bedroom quite cold

Allt fungerade väldigt bra förutom utflykt ” Kust till kust” , jag fick inte 10% rabatt, guide var inte bra, växlade mellan 3-4 språk, maten var torr, det tog 10 -11 timmar och det som var värdefull på utflykten LagOmar och kaktus trädgård tog 45 min var. Vi har mycket bättre intryck av LCT som vi gjorde utflykt med Timenfaya ( hann inte boka oss via TUI)

Olisi mukavaa jos opas osaisi myös suomenkielellä puhua. Bussissa joka tuli meitä hakemaan, olisi voinut olla kyltti että mikä retki on kyseessä. Toki osasimme kysyä, mutta kesti tovin, että kuljettaja löysi listalta nimemme. Yleisesti retkistänne, missään tetkellä ei näytä olevan suomenkielistä opasta?

Vi likte alle de tre stoppene. Lagomar var fantastisk, det samme med kaktus parken. La Grasiosa var en veldig spennende og spesiell öy. Vi valgte å spise lunsj på egenhånd, da vi har dårlig erfaring med store felles lunsjer på utfluktene til Tui. Vi spiste på en av de fine fiskerestaurantene i havnen, det ble en flott opplevelse. Selve opphentingen fra hotellet tok veldig lang tid. Det tok ca 1,5 time för vi var fremme på Lagomar.
