Your adventure begins with a hotel pick-up in Hanoi, followed by a two-hour drive to Ninh Binh. After a brief rest stop, you'll arrive at a local restaurant where you can fuel up for the day ahead. From here, you'll embark on a 20-minute cycling tour to Hoa Lu Ancient Capital, home to the 17th-century temples of Kings Dinh and Le. If cycling isn’t your thing, don’t worry - there's a bus transfer available to the site.
After exploring the ancient capital, you'll have the chance to cycle around the village for another half an hour, experiencing local life. Then it's back to the restaurant for lunch, where you can savour your meal while enjoying scenic views. The afternoon offers a choice between two boat tours. You could explore Tam Coc, often referred to as "Halong Bay on land", with its scenic river, rice fields and caves. Alternatively, opt for the Trang An boat tour, which takes you through a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its cave system and as the filming site for Kong: Skull Island.
