Your lunch is prepared with locally sourced ingredients, many made with the region's liquid gold - Calabrian olive oil. Your menu features handmade pasta, local cheeses, and a selection of local products that offer a true taste of the land.

After lunch, continue your journey to the historic town of Nicotera. Wander through its ancient streets, absorb the authentic atmosphere, and admire the architecture of timeless monuments such as the Ruffo Castle and the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta. Es war sehr interessant. Super organisiert und Preis Leistung überragend. Diesen Ausflug kann ich sehr empfehlen. Die Familie des Olivenfarmers gab sich sehr viel Mühe. Wir wurden mit einem reichhaltigen Buffet bewirtet mit selbst gemachten Spezialitäten und dazu regionaler Wein. Sehr fein!

Ich fand die Gruppengröße zu groß und den Zeitplan viel zu straff. Es war gar keine Zeit für einen selbst um sich in Ruhe umzuschauen und den Ort auf sich wirken zu lassen. Das fand ich sehr schade. Nicotera war leider komplett untergegangen und die 10 Minuten für Kaffeepause kamen viel zu kurz für mich. Lieber länger auf der Olivenfarm bleiben und dort durch die Heine zu Fuß rumzulaufen anstatt in Stress nach Nicotera zu hetzen. Weniger ist in dem Fall mehr. Vielen Dank an das Team!

Die Tour hat uns sehr gut gefallen . Vom Anbau über Historie, Verarbeitung, Qualität und Geschmack war alles an Information sehr interessant. Der Olivenbauer Emanuele und seine Frau Carmela sind sehr freundliche Leute. Der Ausflug in den Olivenwald war ein Erlebnis und das anschließende gemeinsame Essen der typischen kalabrischen Speisen war sehr schmackhaft, der Wein dazu toll. Unsere Reiseleiterin Bettina hat uns sehr gut gefallen, sie hat sich gut um uns gekümmert. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Overall, I enjoyed the tour, but there was one thing that I didn't really like. It was when the guide asked everyone to stand in a circle and introduce themselves. I'm not good at public speaking, so it made me feel uncomfortable and stressed. I would have preferred to learn more about olive cultivation during that half hour, rather than listening to people talk about themselves.

The olive farm tour and talk was really interesting and fun on a tractor carriage. Lunch was excellent with lots of local foods with lots of olive oil. The family were very welcoming. On the second part of the trip two of our coaches side widows shattered which was really dramatic. The guide and driver reacted swiftly and efficiently caring for those who were hit by the glass. We waited for a replacement bus and the owner of the olive farm even came to see us and brought us water.
