Enjoyed: the excursion itself: we got to experience the snowmobile as well as see the Northern Lights. The guide was very attentive. Especially with our daughter who was pulled on a sled. Didn't like: the chaos at the meeting place, there were too many excursions happening at the same time and felt really disorganised. And the miscommunication as to when we needed to be at the Meeting Place. No toilets at the Meeting Place either.

Know in advance:

A minimum of 2 adults are required for this tour to take place, the tour might be cancelled if the minimum departure requirement isn't met
One snowmobile is shared by two adults. Children ride in a sledge pulled by the guide's snowmobile. Children over 140cm tall will sit on the snowmobile and pay the adult price
To drive a snowmobile, you have to be at least 15 years old and hold a valid driver's license – A1, T, A or B category valid to drive in Finland
Northern lights sightings are subject to weather conditions and solar activity and aren't guaranteed
You're recommended to have an early dinner before you depart
The tour will be conducted in English, it's possible to require also a commentary for the following languages: Dutch, Finnish, German, French, Italian, Spanish, and Chinese. Please check with the tour organizer for availability
