Climb the 216 steps leading to the roof of De Nieuwe Kerk. This one-of-a-kind experience starts with a passage through a 17th-century stairwell on Nieuwezijds Voorburgwal. Interestingly, this entrance was originally built for an unfinished tower that was intended to stand at a height of 115 meters. Your ascent continues via a provisional scaffold staircase leading to the rooftop platform.
Once at the summit, take in the sight of the crossing tower and enjoy the spectacular view of Amsterdam's skyline. Noteworthy landmarks include Westerkerk, Central Station, the Royal Palace Amsterdam, along with contemporary structures such as Zuidas and the A'DAM Tower.
