Durante questo tour privato, vedrete come vive una comunità Maya prima di partecipare ai loro rituali sacri. La serata inizia con un tour del villaggio, dopo il quale vi fermerete per imparare come si preparano le tortillas da zero. Poi prenderete parte a una cerimonia di purificazione sacra all'interno di un temazcal tradizionale, un bagno di vapore vulcanico, per pulire e rinnovare la mente e il corpo. Successivamente, vi recherete alla pozza d'acqua locale - un cenote naturale - per una nuotata notturna, prima di concludere la serata con un piatto tradizionale Maya.

Fantastic. Please think about including soft drinks. We only had Hibiscus water available. Not very inclusive. Tour itself is outstanding

This was an amazing experience which surpassed our expectations, everyone was very welcoming and went above and beyond to make this such a brilliant unique experience. We paid for a private tour, which was not an insignificant cost, but definitely worth every penny, we were still asked for tips for the Maya family, driver and guide all of which were well deserving and we understand rely heavily on tipping, we would however hope that a large percentage of the cost of the trip went back to them.

Ein ganz besonderes Erlebnis. Bereits auf der Hinfahrt wird man über Hintergründe informiert und mit Liedmaterial versorgt. Die Zeremonie selbst war einmalig und spirituell. Ein unvergessliches Erlebnis für unsere Familie.

The trip in itself was good visiting a traditional maya village and learning about their culture. The disappointing thing was the trip was advertised as being shown how to make tortillas and chicken from scratch which didn’t happen we were given a meal prepared by the cook. Very disappointing and feel the trip is being miss sold as this was one of the main reasons a we booked it.

The cenote was stunning! And being able to swim in it was stunning. The Temazcal ritual was amazing to experience. The TUI communication could have been improved. Our time was changed last minute without explanation and made private and the reps at the hotel didn’t know about it or why. It looked very dodgy and unsafe at first, but was ok in the end. Definitely not good service from TUI. But the driver and guide were amazing! Thank you to Jane, the Shaman and the Mayan community.
