Depart from Rome on a 1.5-hour high-speed train journey to Florence. Once in Florence, you'll proceed directly to the meeting point, a 25-minute walk from the train station. There you'll meet your guide and embark on your Tuscany adventure.

Your first destination is a winery where you'll taste four different wines, including the renowned Chianti Classico, and Super Tuscan wine. Additionally, you'll sample a 30-year-old balsamic vinegar and a delightful truffle extra virgin olive oil. After this enriching experience, a 15-minute drive will take you to the second winery.

At the second winery, situated in a picturesque area known for producing DOCG Vernaccia white wine and offering views of San Gimignano's iconic towers, you'll be guided through the vineyards and cellars. The winemakers will share their secrets of wine and oil production, and you'll taste three wines, including the famous Vernaccia white wine. You'll also have the chance to purchase local products and wine at attractive prices to take home or ship to friends and family.

In the afternoon, you'll explore San Gimignano's narrow streets, shop, and enjoy world-champion gelato. You'll return to Florence around 5:00 pm. The team will then give you suggestions to explore iconic landmarks like Pitti Palace, Ponte Vecchio and the Duomo in complete freedom. Don’t miss the chance to shop at leather stores or to try local specialities. Your train will leave at 7:43 pm.

Know in advance:

The minimum age for this tour is 18 years old
You'll travel independently by train from Rome Termini Station to Florence and back, with tickets included. You will meet the guide directly in Florence at the tour departure point in Piazza della Calza
The train leaves Rome at 7:30 am approximately. After the tour, you'll return to Florence around 5:00 pm and back to Rome by approximately 9:00 pm
Please note, all timings are estimates and subject to change due to road conditions and traffic
Full details of the train tickets will be sent by email a few days before the tour. On the ticket, you will find the train number and seat assigned
If you wish to stay longer in Florence and take a later train back to Rome, make sure to inform the local partner at the time of booking. You'll find the contact information on the voucher you'll receive after booking
