This makes it not only the oldest restaurant in Boston, but the oldest one with continuous service in the entire United States! You'll sit in the very booth that was reserved for the 35th president, John F. Kennedy, to taste creamy clam chowder, Boston’s signature molasses-infused baked beans, and another coastal: oysters!

Hit the Freedom Trail again and wind your way over to the North End neighborhood, where Italian influences offer a delightful change of pace.
