Enjoy a morning tour of the Tower of London! You will start your tour outside the tower, where your guide will tell you about the history and significance of this important British landmark.

Once inside, you will visit the Jewel House and admire the 23,000 gemstones that form the Crown Jewels. Afterwards, you will head towards the castle ramparts and enjoy the views on the Thames river before continuing inside the chambers of past kings and learn about the stories behind the Traitor’s Gate and the Bloody Tower.

You will then enter the Torture Towers where you will learn about the history of former prisoners and see the spots where famous historical characters spent their last days. Finally, you will visit the White Tower and admire several pieces of armor.

At the end of the tour, you will receive a one-way ticket for a sightseeing river cruise that you will be able to use on a day of your choice.

This tour meets at 5BT, Tower Place West, 50 Lower Thames St, London EC3R 6DT, UK. Meet your coordinator at the West Gate entrance, opposite the Starbucks and in front of the Tower of London gift shop. There is a large tree with benches next to where the coordinator will be waiting. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of your tour.
