Add a little spice to your Thailand travels with this adventurous half-day trip that mixes wildlife and the great outdoors with some locally inspired cooking skills. Start your morning with a trip to a local sea turtle conservation centre for a guided tour of the nursery and a peek at the conservation work. Then, hop on a bike to cycle through 10 kilometres of peaceful green countryside – don't worry, any hills are pretty gentle. When you reach the river, you'll switch the bike for a bamboo raft and spend the next hour gently floating downstream at a pace that let's you take in the tropical riverbanks. Back on land, you'll be taught how to rustle up some fragrant Thai dishes, then dig into your homemade lunch by the river.
