Starting from Saariselkä, you will be heading out on a snowmobile into the arctic wilderness in search for the magical Northern Lights. Your guide does all the necessary research and studies the forecast prior to the tour to ensure you ride towards a spot with the highest chance of seeing the lights.
At the start of this experience your guide will explain everything you need to know about driving a snowmobile and will go through safety instructions. The driving speed and distance is adjusted according to whole group's driving skills and track conditions. The snowmobile can be shared between two people, and while one is driving the other sits behind the driver and enjoys the ride. The driver can be swapped half way through the tour.
The mysterious auroras that blaze across the night sky are associated with many exciting popular beliefs about the magical forces, both good and bad.
