Avoid the typical "Hawker center" culinary tour and the well-traveled tourist route. Eat like a local in “The Shiok Ways”.
With this tour, you will visit the "Katong / Joo Chiat" region, which is home to the best local cuisine on the island. While cycling gently, you'll pass delicious food stands. The bright two-story shophouses with ornate facades, intricate designs, and ceramic tiles will make for many beautiful photo opportunities. You’ll sample at least 8 unique local delicacies on the food tour, such as the Putu Piring, Katong Laksa, Bak Chang, Hainanese Chicken Rice and the World Best Curry Puff. Along the way, the guide will share with you about Singapore food culture and development over the years. You’ll also learn about a unique group of people known as “Peranakan” – a dominant local group in Katong.
Before riding back, you will stop by and unwind at the stunning East Coast Beach.
