During this trip to the market of Loulé, you'll visit the various stands that sell food, flowers, handicrafts and clothing, while the guide will tell you stories about the market. Saturday is the busiest day when locals and visitors flock to the market, and it is also the day that offers a greater variety of food, copper, leather and fruit.
You’ll also learn a bit about the history of Loulé and its Roman and Arabic legacy. You’ll stroll along the cobbled streets and discover remnants of these cultures in places such as the Amuados Garden – an old Arab cemetery – and the Loulé Castle (a Roman structure from the 13th and 14th centuries). If you prefer, you can relax at an outdoor terrace or a coffee shop and watch the hustle and bustle of the city.
