You’ll stroll through a charming historic village with views of the former Royal Summer Palace and the Moorish Castle, and sample Sintra’s famous traditional pastries, Queijada and Travesseiro. Next, you’ll enjoy a guided tour of the enchanting Quinta da Regaleira, exploring its symbolic gardens, hidden tunnels, tranquil lakes, and the iconic Initiation Well. Then, you’ll discover the colourful 19th-century Pena Palace at your own pace, with its lavish interiors, lush parkland, and sweeping fairytale views.

You’ll continue to the dramatic cliffs of Cabo da Roca and pause for a 15-minute photo stop at Guincho Beach, famed for its golden sands and powerful Atlantic waves.

The day concludes in Cascais, a charming seaside town turned royal retreat, where you’ll have free time to wander its streets, admire the beaches, and soak up the elegant coastal atmosphere.

The visit involves a moderate amount of walking, so comfortable shoes are advised
Some locations visited may have accessibility limitations, including stairs, irregular terrain or narrow spaces
Children must remain accompanied by an adult at all times
The Fátima Sanctuary is a place of worship, so appropriate attire is recommended
Check the sanctuary's schedule in advance for any special events or masses you may want to attend
Photography is allowed, but it is recommended to be respectful, especially during mass and prayer times
During the visit, you may also attend a Mass, if you wish. Participation is optional

Comfortable walking shoes, as some areas include uneven or steep surfaces
