Day 1: Agadir to Merzouga
Your adventure begins as you leave Agadir and journey through traditional Berber villages, offering a deep dive into the rich Moroccan heritage. Pass through Taliouine, the world-famous saffron capital, and Taznakht, renowned for its beautiful Berber carpets. After a tasty lunch in Ouarzazate, explore the world-renowned Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah and the Atlas Cinema Studios, home to many blockbuster films. Continue through the stunning Dades Valley, before heading to Tinghir for a restful night.
Day 2: Tinghir to Merzouga
Wake up to a hearty breakfast, then set off to admire the picturesque Tinghir Oasis, nestled against the dramatic backdrop of the Atlas Mountains. Journey onwards to Arfoud, where you’ll taste the famous Berber pizza, and visit the historic town of Errisani. As you approach Merzouga, prepare for the adrenaline-pumping camel trek across the towering dunes of Erg Chebbi. Witness a mesmerising desert sunset as the golden sand shifts with the evening light, then arrive at your nomadic bivouac camp for an unforgettable night under the stars. Join the locals for traditional music, or simply enjoy the serene silence of the Sahara.
Day 3: Merzouga to Agadir
Start the day early with a breathtaking sunrise over the dunes, capturing the ethereal beauty of the Sahara. After a final camel trek back from the desert, enjoy breakfast before heading back to Agadir.
