Next, you'll travel to the village of Matala, once a haven for the hippie community of the 1960s and 70s. Its free-spirited past still lingers in the colourful alleys, relaxed atmosphere, and iconic beach. Enjoy a refreshing swim, soak in the laid-back vibe, or step inside the cliffside caves where the hippies once lived.

A traditional Cretan lunch follows in a local taverna, prepared with fresh regional ingredients and accompanied by wine.

Know in advance:

Pick-up time is between 8.00 am and 9.00 am, and drop-off time is between 4:30 pm and 5:00 pm. The exact time will be confirmed by the local partner one day before the tour
In case the participant does not appear at the pick-up point the reservation is considered invalid, and no refund may be authorised
The use of the seat belt is mandatory
A baby seat is required for safety reasons for infants ages 0-1 (please inform the local partner in advance if you need one). A child booster can be requested for ages 2-11
