First, visit Isola Madre which is the farthest island from Stresa. Explore the island, which is famous for its botanical gardens. See the free-living birdlife and admire the peacocks and pheasants who stroll calmly through the gardens. Discover the unique plants of the island, such as the famous Cashmere tree and Bougainville. You can also visit the villa with its puppet collection. Next, visit Isola Bella most famous for its palace, splendid caves, and Italian-style gardens. Admire the views from the famous terraces, enjoy some shopping in the elegant boutique stores, or visit the local handicraft market, before returning to Stresa.

When the boat arrives at each island, simply hop off the boat and hop back on the next boat when you want to continue your tour.

The boats leave about every 30 minutes from Isola Madre and Isola Bella. Please make sure to ask on-site for the last boat coming back to Stresa on your selected day to ensure that you don´t miss it
A landing tax of €0.50 needs to be paid per person for each island at the ticket office (not included in the tour price)
Your ticket includes the roundtrip boat tour. Any additional entrance costs are optional and at your own expense (e.g. the entrance to the palace and garden of Isola Bella)
Pets are allowed on the boat but not inside the museum and garden (if you decide to visit any of the suggested venues)
This tour takes place rain or shine. If it needs to be canceled for poor weather a refund will be issued
