Der Stand war nicht ganz einfach zu finden und im Nachhinein würde ich mir wohl eher einen gedruckten Führer kaufen… der Audioguide war doch nur sehr rudimentär! Aber es war auf jeden Fall gut ohne Gruppe und Zeitdruck durch Pompej zu wandern! Die üblichen Führungen brauchen 2 h und wir waren fast 7h dort und haben trotzdem nicht alles gesehen!

On arriving in Pompei at the train station, we were directed upstairs by ticket touts, it was confusing to locate the collection point. Upon arriving at the collection point I had to surrender my passport to receive the audio guide and got it back upon returning the guide. I felt extremely uncomfortable, my passport was put in an unlocked box and then into an alphabetical folder, unsecured. At the entrance we waited in a queue to be told we could go straight through. Would NOT recommend.

Small dogs are permitted inside the archaeological area, but they must be kept on a leash and carried when inside the buildings
The ticket is available on the date booked: please report at the Meeting Point and just show the voucher to the staff.
Business hours from April to September 9:00 - 17:00, October 9:00 - 16:00 (From the last Sunday of the month until the end of the month, the business hours are from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM), from November to March 9:00 - 13:00

The audio guide is available in English, Italian, French, Spanish, German, Portuguese and Russian
Please note, this ticket doesn't include the optional entrance to Villa dei Misteri
Free admission to all disabled visitors with a certified disability
