Our guide was friendly, laid-back & informative. We were part of a group of 6. Thankfully we all got on well & had good fun eating Icelandic dishes, while chatting about all our different countries. A very interesting & enjoyable experience.

Really impressed with this experience. The small group was kept entertained and amused with informative facts and stories about Iceland, its history as well as being relevant to the Traditional Food Tour itself. The food was both throughly enjoyable and ample in quantity. Highly recommend!

It was Islandic Food and Drinks experience with Friend of Reykjavik. Very knowledgeable guide Ester, took me to 4 places and we could try Islandic meals. Also guide told me bit about history of passing by us on the way attractions. We visited grocery store and Ester showed me around and we tried hakarl with brinnevin. Great tour. 3 hours overall.

Your expert local guide usually wears a light blue jacket with Your Friend in Reykjavik on the back. The Square is in front of Center Hotels Plaza (Adalstræti 6). The Square is at the beginning of Austurstræti (Austurstræti 1).
