The most dramatic and varied scenery Iceland has to offer will unfold in front of you as you travel along the country's southern coast. You will be visiting glaciers, waterfalls and black sand beaches and you will learn why Iceland is known as the country of contrast.

Accompanied by an experienced and passionate driver guide, you'll be visiting sights such as the Reynisfjara black beach and the Seljalandsfoss and Skogafoss waterfalls. You will also explore fascinating glacier landscape, marvel at volcanoes and visit the small village Vík, the southernmost town of Iceland.

Stunning beauty and elements of great scale await as you drive along the Ring Road and with every stop along the way, giving you the opportunity to witness some of the most dramatic landscape the country has to offer. This is a tour not to be missed for any nature lovers!

Needed more time at each stop, because as the day went on the stops got shore and shorter and it was practically a race to walk to the glacier and back to the coach in the time allocated. The was no time to take in the spectacular views

The only problem was having to wait for other coaches to arrive and the fact that the time was put back which meant we were then rushing at the end to get back, grab something to eat and then go chasing the northern lights but I suppose these things happen sometimes

The walk to the ice at Sólheimajökull glacier takes around 20 min (one way) and is on uneven terrain. As such, good sturdy shoes are recommended
There is no food included on this tour but there will be stops where you are able to purchase food
