Go on an unforgettable adventure in Silfra. This crack between the North American and Eurasian continental plates is filled with incredible clear glacier water which gives it visibility of over 100 meters.

Put on your drysuit and follow your guide around the four parts of Silfra. Look down into the crack and around the tectonic plates, be amazed by the spectacular visibility. Feel the peaceful atmosphere the crystal clear ice-cold water filled with beautiful colors create.

Coming out of the water your guide will prepare a tasty cup of hot cocoa with some delicious cookies to warm you up.

A minimum age of 12 years is required to participate
You have to be physically fit to join this tour
Pregnant women are not allowed to participate
You need to have a minimum height of 150cm and maximum height of 200cm and a minimum weight of 45kg and a maximum weight of 120kg to participate
For this tour it is important that you are able to swim and feel comfortable in the water
Keep in mind you have to wear a sometimes tight and constricting dry suit
It is important to have read, signed and followed directions on the Snorkeling Silfra Medical Statement
You need to sign our liability release form at the start of the tour
Please remember to bring warm clothing (long thermal underwear, warm wool socks, a hat, gloves and scarf)
On the day of the tour, you can park your car at the Þingvellir Parking P5 and walk to the meeting point from there
