This 2-hour VIP City Walk is designed for those who wish to add a more personal touch to their stay in Reykjavik. The walk itself starts at the highest point in Reykjavík at the iconic Hallgrímskirkja church and the path goes downhill from there.

You will pass by the most famous landmarks in the city and you will see some of Reykjavík’s best hidden street art as you get introduced to local habits, do’s and dont’s. You’ll also learn the history of Iceland, hear stoires of Vikings, be well informed about the contemporary iceland and you will get recommendations for restaurants, bars and museums.

The idea is to lay the foundation for the ideal trip to Iceland or to wrap up your journey with answers to the questions that have arisen during your stay. By the end of the walk, you’ll have a local friend and you will have seen the city in a different light.

The tour was well structured and the guide was really nice. The only negative I have is that a meal was not included like it said when I booked the experience on the tui app.

The guide ( Oli) was friendly and knowledgable. I really enjoyed the tour and seeing the sights with someone who knew about the area. Being in a small group was pleasant too. The little stops for hot chocolate and hot dogs were great. ??????
