Witness a spectacular natural phenomenon that only occurs during the winter months. The Northern Lights, also known as Aurora Borealis, are caused by the interaction of particles from the sun with the upper atmosphere near the North Pole. The locations visited during the tour can vary from day to day, depending on weather conditions. The weather and aurora forecasts are studied thoroughly to find the most optimal location each night to spot the lights.

The Blue Lagoon was enjoyable. Although the process of arriving and changing was a bit like herded cattle - it is very busy; once in the pool, it is a worthwhile experience. Unfortunately, our Northern Lights trip was cancelled by the provider due to poor weather. We were offered the chance to rebook for the next day, which we did, but that was also cancelled and we were then not offered to rebook. I have requested a refund for this part of the experience from TUI - no response yet.

The trips we booked with tui did not appear on my tui app acc. Also we were sent from one bus to another in a very cold and snowy day. The experiences themselves were very enjoyable and would definitely recommend them, but a bit more organising and labelling the buses would help

Although I wasn’t informed and it was only when I called to check what time pick up was that they sent me an email confirming cancellation. The second day also no lights and we’re leaving the following day so a little disappointed but nothing that anyone could do about it??
