Embark on an unforgettable adventure in one of Petén's most awe-inspiring natural destinations: the Blue Crater. Your journey begins bright and early with pick-up from your hotel or a pre-arranged location in Flores. From there, you'll travel by road to Pucte Creek, offering you the chance to take in the region's bucolic landscapes.
Upon reaching your destination, you'll hop aboard a boat that will glide through crystal clear waters. During this part of the tour, you'll have the opportunity to spot birds, verdant vegetation, and if fortune favours you, some wildlife in their natural habitat. This river trip lasts roughly half an hour until you reach the Blue Crater, a secluded gem where the transparent, azure water will leave you awestruck.
You'll be given free time to swim, snorkel (equipment provided), or simply unwind and soak up the surroundings. After savouring the delights of the Blue Crater, you'll also visit Imox Lagoon and Poza Azul. These are springs with clear, tranquil water, making them ideal for a rejuvenating swim or simply relaxing enveloped by nature.
During your excursion, a modest but appetizing packed lunch is provided, just the ticket for refuelling before heading back to Flores later in the day.
