A half-day city tour is an ideal way of getting to the heart of Cape Town. On this tour, you’ll discover the city’s historical sites such as the Company’s Garden, the Castle of Good Hope and the Malay Quarter also known as Bo-Kaap. You’ll also visit Greenmarket Square, a popular local market where you can buy souvenirs.

Your half-day city tour also takes you to the Parliament buildings and Signal Hill, where the Noon Gun is fired. You can also take a diamond factory tour, or go up Table Mountain in the cable car if the weather is good. Meine Frau und ich waren die einzigen Teilnehmer auf der Vormittags-Tour. Sehr schön, dass sie trotzdem durchgeführt wurde. Wir hatten dadurch mehr Zeit (=weniger Aufenthaltszeit da nicht auf „den Letzten“ gewartet werden musste) und der Fahrer hat dann noch ein paar Extra-Stops für uns eingelegt. Wir haben diese Tour sehr genossen.
