Reina Sofía Museum Tickets and Audio Guide

Dedicated to art of the late 19th and 20th centuries and also known as the Queen Sofía Museum, it's a magical world full of objects to admire. Feel excited as you enter the building located in the so-called Golden Triangle of Art not far from the world-famous Museo del Prado and the Museo Thyssen-Bornemisza.

Hear about its history and transformation to the present day. Plus, explore a collection that includes around 20,000 works of art and masterpieces by Spanish and international artists. Marvel at creations by Picasso and Dalí, but also Joan Miró, Juan Gris, Lucio Fontana, Ives Klein, Max Ernst, Robert Delaunay, Yves Tanguy, Georges Braque and many more.

Esperienza positiva per l’acquisto del biglietto. Purtroppo l’audioguida non è quella ufficiale del museo ed è stato un po’ difficile rintracciare le opere per cui era disponibile un commento.

Pur avendo inclusa audioguida, gli operatori del museo ci hanno detto che nel nostro biglietto non era prevista audioguida. Pertanto la visita è stata un po’ confusionaria. In ogni caso ciò che siamo riusciti a vedere è stato molto interessante e da noi apprezzato.

Non si può chiudere un museo del genere alle 14.30…ci hanno praticamente buttato fuori. Troppo grande per così poco tempo. Per ammirare certi capolavori ci vuole calma!

Please make sure to download and present the pdf ticket attached to the voucher after booking
Important: on Sundays, the museum is open from 10:00am to 2:30pm. The sale of tickets at the ticket office will finish at 2:00pm, apart from advanced bookings. Entrance to the museum will be free starting at 12:30pm
Admission is free on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 7:00pm to 9:00pm, Sundays from 12:30pm to 2:30 pm, and October 12
The audio guide is available in English, French, Italian, and Spanish
Cloakroom service is available at both entrances
The Sabatini building has ramp access
The Nouvel building has automatic lockers for wheelchair users
Use the cloakroom at the entrance to the Nouvel building for large possessions (please note: the Nouvel has no ramp access)
Photos without flash, tripod, monopod or any other stabilizing element are allowed, except where otherwise indicated
No photos or image recording equipment is allowed in area 206 (Picasso’s Guernica)
Baby carriages/pushchairs/strollers can be borrowed at the locker service counters or you may bring your own
