Be prepared to step back in time and explore Ancient Egypt during your visit to one of the most amazing historical sites of the Red Sea Area, Hurghada Antiquity Museum.

You can plan your visit at your convenience within the Museum opening hours in the morning or afternoon. The Museum contains 2000 artifacts that tell the story of Egypt, from the Ancient Egyptian and the Graeco-Roman, passing by the Christian, Islamic, and Modern eras.

You'll also be able to admire a masterpiece of Egyptian art, the statue of Meritamun and the offering table of Thutmose III, learn about their beliefs, admire their fine art and customs plus more.

Het was een leuk maar klein museum, als je in de buurt bent is het de moeite om het te doen. Je bent ongeveer een uurtje bezig. Het verbaasde me hoe weinig mensen hier komen we waren de enige twee gasten op dit tijdstip, misschien zelfs op de hele dag maar het was echt interessant. Aan het einde hadden we souvenirs winkels die zouden binnenkort verhuizen omdat er niemand meer komt maar het personeel was zo lief en niet pushend. Ik hoop zo dat er wat meer mensen naartoe gaan in de toekomst.
