Africa’s largest city has to be experienced to be believed. The Pyramids of Giza, the Sphinx and the treasure-laden Egyptian Museum are all on the menu of this history-drenched full-day tour. A wealth of heritage, culture and atmosphere await.

After an early start, you’ll arrive at Giza, the location of one of Egypt’s seven UNESCO World Heritage Sites where you will see the Great Pyramid of Giza. With a local guide, you’ll learn all about this vast enterprise, built for the pharaoh Cheops. You will also see the pyramids of Khafre and Menkaure before standing in awe beneath the Great Sphinx.

After lunch, you'll head to teeming central Cairo to visit the Egyptian Museum, the home to the world’s biggest collection of pharaonic artefacts. Wander spellbound through its main areas, marvelling at everything from jewellery to aeons-old mummies, sculptures and more.

Please note that you'll gain access to the pyramids area, but the entrance fees to get inside the pyramids (Cheops, Mykerinos or Kefren) are not included. The tickets available are limited and must be purchased on site, so access is not guaranteed. The adult entrance fee for the Cheops Great Pyramid is around EGP 900 and EGP 450 for children under 12. The adult entrance fee for Mykerinos or Kefren is around EGP 220 and EGP 110 for children under 12. Payment is available only with a credit card
