Meet your guide at your location and begin the journey toward Berat, one of Albania’s most distinctive and frequently visited cities. Recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Berat is celebrated for its preserved Ottoman architecture and deep historical roots.

Make a short stop at Belshi Lake, a quiet and scenic spot near a small town, perfect for enjoying the surrounding natural beauty before continuing the drive.

Upon arrival in Berat, explore Berat Castle, an extraordinary fortress where local families still live within its ancient walls. Wander through its stone pathways, admire panoramic views over the city, and visit several well-preserved Byzantine churches.

Continue with a walk through the historic quarters of Mangalemi and Gorica, located on opposite sides of the Osumi River and connected by the iconic Gorica Bridge. These neighborhoods offer a glimpse into the timeless character of the city.

Enjoy approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes of free time to explore the newer part of Berat, take photos, and have lunch at your leisure.

After the visit, relax on the return journey to Tirana.

The walking tour inside the castle follows uneven stone streets with uphill and downhill sections. Comfortable footwear and a moderate level of fitness are recommended

PICK UP: If you select the hotel pick-up option, you may be kindly asked to walk a short distance (1–10 minutes) to a nearby main street. This is usually due to certain hotels being located on narrow streets where our buses cannot easily access. IF YOUR HOTEL IS OUTSIDE THE URBAN AREA, YOU NEED TO COME AT A MEETING POINT.

IMPORTANT: You’ll receive the final tour details via email and WhatsApp the night before the tour, between 17:00 and midnight. Pick-up times may slightly change depending on the schedule, so it’s very important to check our message. If you’re asleep when we send the info, just check it in the morning to confirm your pick-up time.
