Buffered by the bright blue Aegean and blessed with bags of seafront scenery, northern Lesbos is almost made for boat trips. Cruise along the coast towards the tiny fishing village of Skala Sikaminia, where for three hours you can explore the pretty port, sit by the beach or drop into a waterfront taverna for lunch. It's a taste of traditional island life.

Leuk uitstapje. Het verblijf in het plaatsje is wel erg lang. Je bent er redelijk snel uitgekeken. Er zijn helaas geen lig bedden en parasols. De boot maakt veel lawaai.

Persoonlijk vind ik 3,5 uur lang om in Skala Sikaminia te blijven. Denk dat 1,5 uur voldoende is. Wellicht zou de trip gecombineerd kunnen worden met tocht naar Eftalou of een strandje om te zwemmen.
