La Gomera 4x4 Safari Tour desde el Sur

Squeezing 7 adults into a jeep with 3 traveling on bench seats in boot not comfortable. Driving like the devil was chasing us caused several cases of car sickness. For got sake slow down and let us enjoy the island.

The tour was great. The scenery was stunning. It would have been better if we could have taken photos on route, but we were travelling very quickly and swerving around the corners at high speed. I was hanging on tight in the middle seat, unable to let go to take pics. It was a great experience. I would like to do it again at a slower pace. But they do fit in a lot in the day.

Point négatif : l’excursion devait se faire en français et c’est en allemand que je l’ai suivie … pour être dans une voiture avec plus de place, j’étais avec 3 voyageurs allemands dont mon compagnon qui a traduit ?? Points positifs : le guide était local, il a raconté beaucoup d’anecdotes et était très agréable ! La visite était intéressante avec des arrêts aux points à voir … très chouette pour un premier aperçu de l’île Je recommande

Terry was an excellent driver and guide. His knowledge of La Gomera was outstanding and he shared this in an accessible and enjoyable way. The trip was perfectly structured, with plenty of stops to take photos and learn more about the island, its history and its people. The lunch was excellent, especially the chicken which was grilled over an open fire (if you’re not a fan of meat containing bones, just ask for vegetarian at the start of the day). The ferry transfer was fast and comfortable.

Great day out. Was collected from hotel in Land Rover Defender and taken to meet other vehicles and families. Assigned to cars and drivers for the day. Our driver was Colin, who was superb. Driven down to ferry terminal for the approx. 50 minute crossing to La Gomera. Taken on tour of island with commentary all the way and plenty of stops for photos and comfort breaks. Lunch was included, which was delicious and included a vegetarian option. Thoroughly recommend. You must take your passport!

Terry our guide was terrific. He was both knowledgeable and fun. The island was beautiful and interesting. The only negative was the lunch break. The view of Teide was tremendous but the service was hurried and the food average.
