All visitors must pass through airport-style security. During high season, the wait at security may be up to 30 minutes
Please note that the elevator will take you to the first level of the Dome. To reach the top you will need to climb around 300 steps
The Vatican Museums reserve free admission to all disabled visitors with a certified disability of more than 74%. In case of non-self-sufficiency, the free ticket is also extended to a companion
