In the midst of the region Upper Franconia, which was declared an intangible cultural heritage of Germany by UNESCO in 2016 for its work, three special museums around beer, bread and spices are located in Kulmbach's Mönchshof.

At the Bavarian Brewery Museum, you'll learn all about the long history of brewing culture and how it was revolutionized and rationalized by industrialization, and that brewing beer is still a fine art today - despite all the technology and science.

The individual museums do not have to be visited in one day. The ticket is valid for an unlimited time
The entrance fee includes a tasting sip of the museum beer (non-alcoholic refreshment is also available), as well as a small snack
