Discover rural Zanzibar and the beauty of the island while going on an adventurous Quad biking tour (Quad type: Can Ams 450cc). First you will receive a safety instruction briefing at the Quad base, before you will gear up, learn the Quad basics and start your half day adventure either as a solo driver or with a companion.

The journey will take you to unspoilt lands that cannot be reached by car and through rice fields and sugar cane plantations. You will get the opportunity to experience authentic rural life while visiting a local village and get in touch with the Zanzibaris.

The tour is escorted by a local English speaking guide who will share some interesting stories about Zanzibar and its culture along the way. Stops are made for you to take photos or just stretch your legs.

Loved going to the village but didn’t enjoy the children grabbing my hands so much, but I guess that’s their way. Fascinating trip into village life.

The tour is very misleading; firstly I paid for 2 separate Quads and we shared the same Quad. It’s hardly a Quad ride of any speed you are using your Quad just to travel to and from to see the Rice Fields and local villages. They certainly do not ride the Quad on a beach as shown on the photo for advertising. All you see is a 10 min ride on the road and off track to Rice fields and a few small villages to see how they live and the same on the return. Don’t bother if you like speed!!

I liked everything. The boy the guide was sooooooo nice, he explained everything with patience, he took me to the rice plantation, to the river and to the village to see the people, the kids and their life there. Everything amazing i loved it.

Die Tour als solche ist gut. Aber euer Werbefoto vermittelt ein völlig falsches Bild und schürt eine Erwartungshaltung, die keineswegs erfüllt wird. Es geht weder an einen Strand, noch hat die Tour etwas mit einem leichten Lebensgefühl zu tun, welches durch die lachenden Gesichter suggeriert wird. Die blanke Armut in den Dörfern und das sehr entwürdigende Betteln hat nichts mit dem Werbefoto gemein. Die Tour hinterlässt einen tiefen Eindruck der Demut vor den signifikanten Unterschieden.

Bij deze tour zijn de eerste stops bij rijstvelden, waarbij eea wordt verteld over de landbouw op Zanzibar. Vervolgens zijn er 2 bezoeken aan dorpjes waarbij kennisgemaakt wordt met lokale bevolking en getoond wordt hoe er geleefd wordt. Wij hadden voor de kinderen cadeautjes meegenomen vanuit NL en de gids hielp ons bij het uitdelen hiervan (gezien het grote aantal kinderen). Voor ons een geslaagde en leuke tour!

This tour includes hotel pickup from the North and North-East coast hotels which include the areas of Pwani Mchangani, Kiwengwa, Matemwe, Kendwa and Nungwi. An additional transport fee applies if you stay in other areas in Zanzibar: 120 USD (minimum 2 people) to be paid in cash on-site

Each quad can have 1 or 2 passengers (prices are per vehicle)
