Valencia is Spain´s 3rd largest city and capital to the Costa Blanca. Situated, some two hours by coach from Albir, Altea, Benidorm & Calpe, the beautiful city of Valencia is definitely worth a visit for those looking to immerse themselves in the culture and tradition that this city has to offer. The city has roots dating back to the Romans, who founded a colony on the shores of the Turia river in 138 a.c. and today is the perfect mix of contemporary versus tradition, with stunning architecture through the ages that proudly stand, helping to tell the story and history of Valencia.
On arrival, you will be given 5-hours of free time to explore the city and all it has to offer. The drop off point in Valencia is at the Torres de Serranos, gateway to the historic part of the city and just a short walk from the cathedral and main center. One of the best ways to see the city is with an official guide and you will have the option to purchase a guided walking tour of the old part of the city, taking in some of the most emblematic buildings that will last around 75 to 80 minutes at a cost of just 10€ per person. This is to be paid on the day to the representative on the coach. Those wishing to visit the Oceanografic (sea world) centre or the Mestalla football ground, can do so as "optional extras" which the representative on the day will explain to you. Prices can vary depending on the seasons but full details and correct prices will be given to you on the day of your trip.
