Discover the Bochnia Salt Mine, one of the world's oldest mining sites and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, dating back to 1248. This six-hour tour includes hotel pick-up from Kraków, skip-the-line entry, an underground boat ride and a mining train ride.
After arriving at the mine, you'll skip the entrance queue and receive an audio guide in your chosen language. Then, you'll go underground to explore a labyrinth of tunnels, chambers and spaces shaped by centuries of salt mining. You'll travel through part of the route by mining train and take a boat ride through flooded corridors, adding a distinctive element to the visit.
You can also explore an interactive museum that presents the history of salt mining and extraction techniques. Along the route, you'll see underground chapels, including St Kinga Chapel, where masses and concerts are still held. The decorated chambers reflect the skill and craftsmanship of the miners who worked here over the centuries.
An English-speaking guide accompanies the group underground to support the visit and help ensure a safe, comfortable experience. After the tour, you'll return to Krakow by transfer.
