During some days of high turnout or for reason of force majeure (for example high tide or security problems) the waiting time to access St. Mark’s Basilica might be longer than expected: in this case, please line up and respect the instructions provided by the guide

The tour is not considered private but it is shared with other guests not belonging to the same party
The guided tour of the basilica includes every day, the visit to the Terrace (where there are also the famous Horses of Constantinople) and to the Museum of San Marco
On Sundays and holidays, due to the mass being held on the ground floor, the tour will start directly from the second floor, where there is the Terrace and the Museum of St. Mark. The famous mosaics will be visible only partially from the second floor
Please note that starting between April 25th and July 14, 2024 on certain dates, registration and payment of an access contribution will be necessary to visit the city of Venice. The office is close to San Marco Square. Having the Basilica of San Marco behind you, stay on the right side of the square and go under the arches. Find Olivetti Museum, turn right passing under the archways, cross the little bridge and go straight on to “Campo San Gallo”, Venice Tours Office is in the square, San Marco 1093/B. Please be at the meeting point 5 minutes before the departure time.
