This tour starts by meeting your guide at the Museum ticket office and takes place in a small group, led by a local professional guide and archaeologist.

Visit the best of the Archeological Museum of Naples: Farnese’s collection with Hercules’statues, the two Tyrannicides, the majestic group called Toro Farnese, the statues of Gods and the busts of the Emperors, and Romans’ collection with artifacts from the city's destruction during the Mt. Vesuvius eruption in 79 A.D. with the best preserved and important frescoes and mosaics from Pompeii and Herculaneum.

Discover the hidden treasures of one of the oldest and richest museum in the world and be inspired by the amazing masterpieces in it.

The guide was very knowledgeable and showed us all of the major exhibits. It was disappointing to learn that two of the museum's most famous pieces were out on loan at the time of our visit!
