Get to know the old town of Bari diving into the Apulian “casba”, strolling through the maze of alleyways, and taking in the city's scents and flavors!

Meet your guide and start your visit admiring the outsides of the Swabian Castle. Continue on towards the orecchiette road and arrive at the Cathedral of San Sabino. Reach the Basilica of San Nicola, a Romanesque church built during the Italo-Norman domination of Apulia. The basilica holds wide religious significance throughout Europe and it is an important pilgrimage destination for both Catholics and Orthodox Christians.

From here, you'll progress onwards, taking in the sights and sounds until you'll arrive at the port, full of sixteenth and nineteenth-century monuments and palaces. Along the way, you will discover the city's authentic culture. You will be enthralled by the dialect of the ladies in their doorways, as they prepare orecchiette, and you will be thrilled to walk the narrow, picturesque alleyways where colorful clothes hang from balconies.
