If the Amalfi Coast is the business, then Capri is showbusiness. A magnet for celebs since the days of Roman emperors, it's a must-visit. Journey over by fast ferry, passing Punta Campanella and admiring the entire peninsula from the deck. A minibus trip to Anacapri and Capri town tops off the day.

Nowadays, it's the likes of George Clooney and Beyoncé who take their holidays on this ruggedly beautiful island. Get the red-carpet treatment as we start with a skip-the-line minibus trip to kick off your visit to Capri. In Anacapri, you'll enjoy a guided walking tour of the centre, taking in the Belvedere, where you can admire epic views of the jagged coastline. You'll also have free time to explore at your own pace.

In the afternoon, it's back on the minibus to go to Capri town. Wander around its narrow alleys on a guided walking tour that ends by the Augustus Gardens. Your guide will point out where you can take the best photos of the Faraglioni rocks. Afterwards, enjoy free time to people watch in the bars, cafés and label-laden boutiques, or check out its half-dozen baroque churches.

One hour on Anacapri to have lunch and a wander is ridiculous….. not even enough time to eat the lunch. But then an hour and a half in the middle section is too long! And no time at all at the bottom level where we arrived. A long expensive day for very little. Doing it yourself would be as good! More info on the island, its famous past inhabitants….interesting facts …. But hardly a thing. Our guide Michaela was nice to appeared to be going through the motions. Sorry my review is not pisitive.

Tour overall good. Disappointed that tour took nearly 11 hours (standard apparently with ferry from Capri booked for 5pm) when you had indicated 8 in your promotion ! Having met Sunland rep at 8.10 (8.20 arranged) it wasn’t until 8.55 we were booked on ferry after 5 minute walk !. Also it was fully 2pm before we had lunch opportunity so that is far from ideal after required early breakfast . More free time in both Capri and Anacapri would be beneficial too to the overall experience.

The whole day was excellent. Our guide in Maiori Danielle was funny and very helpful. Tina in Capri was very good and very knowledgeable. All in all a terrific trip

We enjoyed the boat trip round the island. We were then taken to Ana Capri were we had free time, we went on the chair lift. Then we were taken to Capri town. The guide was informative and knowledgeable. He showed us how to get to the gardens and background on Capri and then gave us free time to explore the town.
