This 5D experience uses music, video projections and special effects to transport you back to Amsterdam as it was, when Rembrandt was a citizen of the city, showing a reconstruction of Rembrandt's studio where he created his final masterpieces.

In an intimate small group experience, you will be guided into Rembrandt’s art room, where you will get to know Rembrandt, his wife Hendrickje, son Titus and daughter Cornelia. Watch a short video presentation of the famous artist's life as he lived in the 17th century.

This was definitely one of the most beautiful experiences I’ve had in Amsterdam. The little details and how they export you back to the past is surreal! Definitely a must-do! Nice to do in combination with Rijksmuseum.

I got to know a bit more about Rembrandts personal life and his career in a simple and fairly engaging way. But it is not at all an experience out of the ordinary. It was a short “show” located in the touristic area of Amsterdam and thereby easy to combine with other activities.

The Rembrandt Experience was extremely cool! I had a lot of fun being completely immersed into the world of this great painter and artist. The way the 5d show is constructed and realized is very nice, intimate and personal. 5 stars definitely!
