The Menorca of a hundred years ago was a simpler, wilder place, and you'll see how rural families worked, lived and thrived on this trip to Binissues. The historic estate brings together a beautifully preserved 19th-century manor house, a traditional 18th-century home, known as a casa payesa, and the island's Museum of Natural Sciences. You'll have time to look around the houses for an authentic peek into Menorca's past, as well as take a self-guided tour of the museum's exhibits, which include 8,000 species of butterflies, insects, reptiles and more.
