Excite your senses with this Zanzibar day trip. Search for the rare, red colobus monkey in the jungles of Jozani Chwaka Bay National Park, then turn up the heat with a visit to a spice farm and see how the likes of vanilla, nutmeg, and cardamom are grown, tasting as you go.

To start the day, kick-off to Jozani Chwaka National Park and you'll step foot into the forest home of endangered red colobus monkeys, bushbabies, duikers, butterflies, and birds. Keep your eye trained on the treetops and you'll be in with a chance of spotting these elusive creatures as you make tracks through the park.

Arrive at a spice farm and you'll see how pepper, cloves, nutmeg, vanilla, and cinnamon are grown and get to try some too.

Fantastic day excursion firstly to see the colobus monkeys and the mangroves, then onto the spice farm. We actually enjoyed the spice farm more than the forest which was not what we expected but the spice farm was really interesting and fun. Our guide was brilliant really informative and passionate about giving the best experience possible. Would highly recommend this tour.

SEHR beliebter Ausflug (Jozani). Bereitet euch auf viele Besucher vor. Die Affen sind witzig. Spice Farm ist sehr interessant und touristisch. Man bekommt ungefragt eine Kokosnuss in die Hand gedrückt und darf dann einen Tip abliefern. Gewürzshop fand ich nicht so interessant. Sehr kleine Tütchen, Preis eher hoch.
