Off-road Yumuri safari

The excursion was really well planned and would recommend. Customers should be advised at point of booking that extra cash will be needed for toilets, refreshments, etc. Would be better to split the drinks across the day rather than all three at lunch. Too much time given at ranch, otherwise all timed very well.

By far the best excursion out of 3 that we booked. 4 different places, lunch was tradition pork and rice, big portions too with 3 drinks included. Highly recommend

A long day with only two drinks included not enough, over priced for what’s included, stuck in jeep for too long going over very bad roads expected to see some off road experience instead just going through villages with dreadful roads in very small jeep and terrible comfort. Food when eventually arrived not great and as before then only two small drinks for what experience cost very poor. Speed boat ok but just up and down river, snorkling ok cave ok ranch for food gets you to buy before meal

We travelled with guide and mechanic which made our experience much better as we were given and asked so much about Cuba during the jeep journeys, I’m not sure whether I would have felt the same driving or travelling with strangers. Need to advise to take two swim wears one for snorkelling and one for cave swim otherwise sat in wet clothes for too long. Also it really isn’t easy getting in and out of the sea for snorkelling, this could be improved so that more people could join in.

The safari started at a river boat experiance which was good then to snorkelling /scuber diving as neither of did this and it wasn’t on a beach we just sat for the hour and a half .. the next was to a farm which was good.. the last was to a cave which was crowded and a bit boring so we sat and waited.. it was a very long day added by the areas we wish we could have skipped..please tell people to take extra money to pay for added extras!! Driver of jeep was excellent!!

Although this is expensive you do get to do a number of activities (although none for a long time). We weren't able to snorkel due to Jellyfish but they still took us to the location so we could buy a pinacolada - and we weren't told until we got there we couldn't do it. The horse ride is a short walk around a small field - not worth it. It also turns out if you've booked through a Canadian rep you get to drive the jeep with is considerably cheaper than UK that get private drivers.
