What better way to spend a morning than a fun family cruise on the Atlantic Ocean. On a sleek catamaran, you'll sail by Sal Rei Island and the golden beaches of Praia de Chaves. Along the way, you can grab a drink from the open bar whilst little ones enjoy a mini disco and face painting with the friendly crew.

Casting off from Sal Rei harbour, you'll leave the shore behind and let the fun begin. Welcomed aboard by the pirate-themed crew, kids will be wowed with face painting, a mini disco and more. Grown-ups on the other hand can enjoy something cool and tropical from the bar as you cruise by the long stretches of beach at Praia de Chaves and Sal Rei Island.

And when you're not admiring the scenery, you've plenty of time to top up your tan on deck or just sit back and relax. What's more, before heading back to port, your captain will drop anchor and invite you to take a refreshing dip in the Atlantic. All in all, a great family day on the waves.

Lots of information provided during the trip. Bottles/cans of drinks included as well as some hot snacks (pizza/sausage rolls etc). The sal rei island that we stopped off at was beautiful. Free time for half hour or so to snorkel. I would highly recommend the trip

The boat was amazing and the stopping off to swim in the sea and visit the beach was fantastic. Although the staff were friendly, I don’t feel you could overly call this a family entertainment cruise. All they did was wear sort of pirate clothes, played some kids music and do 2 dances. They didn’t encourage the kids to join in, do activities with the kids and the only faces they painted was themselves! Not the kids. That was a bit of a let down.

To be honest this was the best excursion we’ve ever been on. If you’ve got children you will be surprised at how well the crew occupy and look after them. 4 hours is perfect for this trip and the staff are happy to give you free drinks and snacks (please tip them a few Euros for their kindness) you stop off for a little snorkel, which they will provide the snorkel if you don’t have one. Tips, take a towel, sun cream snorkel and travel sick pills if needed, although the trip is smooth. 10/10
