This tour will take you to the university town of Oxford. On your way to Stratford-upon-Avon detour through the Cotswolds and admire the region's picture-perfect English countryside. Following a guided walk through Stratford-Upon-Avon, there will be free time to explore and an optional visit to Shakespeare’s birthplace or his tomb in the Holy Trinity Church (entrances not included).
The approximate itinerary is as follows:
Oxford
- Your guide will take you on a guided walk through the historic heart of Oxford and its University, where several movies have been filmed, including some Harry Potter scenes
- Optional entrance to a college in Oxford
Stratford-upon-Avon
- Guided walk through this pretty town, full of Tudor houses with free time to eat
- Shakespeare’s Birthplace (entrance not included)
- William Shakespeare’s tomb at the Holy Trinity Church (entrance not included)
The Cotswolds
- Drive through the rolling hills and some of the region’s prettiest villages
- Admire the most picturesque countryside in England
