For the perfect introduction to the island of eternal spring, this full day tour of Tenerife's main sights is just the ticket. We'll marvel at the summits of the west and discover towns such as Puerto de la Cruz and Candelaria.
Leaving Playa de las Americas, you'll head straight for the impressive summits of the west coast for a dramatic journey through Santiago del Teide as we climb towards Erjos, a rustic hamlet in the foothills of the Teno highlands. From here, there are views of Teide volcano and over the island. We'll then descend to El Tanque – keep an eye out for Roque de Garachico, a green-topped craggy island lying just offshore. A visit to the village of Garachico is lined up, too.
Next up, we'll swing by Icod de los Vinos, famed for its impressive Dragon Tree which is believed to be around 1000 years old. We'll round off the day with visits to Puerto de la Cruz and Candelaria, where we'll see the seafront basilica
